Dear readers,
My name is Sarah, and I would like to help you all have the best life you can live. Can you do it alone? I don't think so. I'm not saying that you should not be independent, I'm saying that you need someone to back you up. For example, when you're sad, someone else should be able to feel your sorrow. Readers, write your problems and we shall solve it all together.
Sincerely,
Miss. Sarah
Dear Miss. Sarah,
The most dreadful thing happened to me yesterday. I can barely even type because I'm a spider. I am sure you have heard of me, but I was a maiden. I was a skillful weaver, and... oh! people would come from all over the countries to see me work. Well, I have a father who is a dyer, and produces marvelous colors (but I never tell him so). You wouldn't believe how famous I was. CNN, WETA, MSNBC, TLC, and even MTV came to interview me. Then people started this lie, a horrible rumor. You know what they said? They said Athene taught me my skill of how to weave, and how much I was blessed. That was an outright lie!!!
I heard people murmur the same rumor over and over again when they came to see me. I was certainly pissed off, I mean, how dare they. They disrespected me, my family, and most of all, my skill. Who did they think they were, I acquired the skill from working night and day, and vice versa. One day, this old hag was with the onlookers. I had screamed at the people because they had said the same thing over. Then the old lady came up to me. She was all poor, she looked ugly, wretched, and just so ugh! She was all like, "You wretched girl, how dare you disrespect Athene, BLAH, BLAH, BLAH, BLAH, BLAH." I was fed up with all this attitude I was seeing from a woman lower than me (by status). I challenged Athene, and then the woman threw down he can, and she transformed into Athene. She was beautiful, but she would not defeat me, in what I rock at! We started to weave, Athene's cloth started to form a final warning for me. Then something came to my mind, what have the gods done to poor maidens like me? I started to weave in my design, of gods appearing on earth, and ruining the lives of young women. Athene saw my work, and ripped it all up. She raised her hand and slapped me across my face. I was so pissed off, this is what gods did to others. They were no gods, they were monsters. They wanted to control simple human beings who are inferior to them. I finally decided to kill myself, I would not live with the insult. I would not go around and be ridiculed by others saying, "Oh, she's the one that got slapped by Athene." Athene touched my, and I shriveled up to become a spider. She said something about me being a resemblance of what will happen to any human that decides to duel a god. What a witch! Now, my tiny legs are running from key to key in order to type. What shall I do? Help me, Miss. Sarah.
Yours truly,
A from Ancient Greece
Dear A from Ancient Greece,
I feel deeply sorry for you. I have heard about your encounter with Athene on the news. I seldom use modern equipments, other than to answer my readers. You know what I say to your problem? Live on! Live with dignity. Make people see you as a use to them rather than the result of a fight between you and Athene. Prove to other human beings that they can fight back, and that you can't merely be controlled by the gods. Fight back. Make children so your blood will live on for the longest time ever. Do not die, and become depressed to make the gods satisfied. Weave like you have never wove before, make the finest embroideries ever.
Sincerely,
Miss. Sarah
PS. Below are pictures of what I found on the news.

The Picture above is on a canvas, and it's supposed to be when Athene and Arachne were together.

A, I understand what pain you are going through. People actually took a picture of you getting smacked by Athene? That's dispecable!!!

I believe this was how you looked like before the incident occurred? You were very skilled, I assume.

This is how you look after the encounet with Athene. You are still very skillful with your weaving though!!
Dear A,
I really feel sorry for you. People have been mailing me many things about your incident with Athene. They also feel sorry for you. I have received over 500 texts to tell you that they feel very sorry for you.
Dear A,
My name is Joseph, and Iw ould like to send you my regards on how you are coping to be a spider. I feel really sorry for you, and if you need anything, I can help. I really feel sorry for you. OMG, though, how could Athena do anything like this? Bye. I hope you have a nice life as a spider.
